Objectives

The Three Questions Model of Developing Social Entrepreneurs (T3QM) is an innovative methodology proven to create jobs and develop social entrepreneurial skills (both soft and hard skills). Starting a business should be accessible to everyone. Yet, many aspiring business people are discouraged by the complex, time consuming steps required to start a business. T3QM is about ensuring that the opportunities of social entrepreneurship are open to any individual. To ensure this, T3QM uses practical business material that puts sales and income first.

T3QM project will:

  1. increase the capacity of adult educators to develop entrepreneurial skills amongst adult learners;
  2. transfer and adapt a methodology of job creation to new socio-cultural environments and linguistic contexts;
  3. increase the entrepreneurial capacity of adult learners and enable them to create their own jobs as a result of the methodology.

Target groups

T3QM is addressed to adult educators, adult learners and organisations involved in social entrepreneurship, but also targets consulting agencies, education centres, aspiring entrepreneurs, policy makers and administrations at regional and national level.

On one hand, adult learners will be involved in the creation of a new, highly individualised, method of developing entrepreneurial capacities. They will have access to e-materials and e-consultants, when they are in need of extra support after the lifetime of the project.

On the other hand, adult educators will learn a new approach to combine input from the worlds of entrepreneurship and education, develop key competencies for entrepreneurship amongst individuals from peripheral and disadvantaged communities, provide tailored support, guidance and motivation in developing entrepreneurs.

T3QM project will:

  1. increase the capacity of adult educators to develop entrepreneurial skills amongst adult learners;
  2. transfer and adapt a methodology of job creation to new socio-cultural environments and linguistic contexts;
  3. increase the entrepreneurial capacity of adult learners and enable them to create their own jobs as a result of the methodology.

Outputs

T3QM project will develop the following tools and materials:

The research presents the contemporary situation of enterprise and leadership coaching for adults across the EU. A needs analysis research is conducted in each partner country in order to gain a strong comprehension of the provision of adult education around entrepreneurship and coaching social enterprise.

The curriculum and tools for adult educators in local organisations aim to develop sustainable social businesses in their communities. The curriculum and set of tools, available in 6 languages, enable adult educators and education organisations to support local adults to grow businesses and be more entrepreneurial.

These tools enable the social impact of the project to be amplified thanks to their reliability, transferability and ease of use. Besides, such robust bank of products can easily affect adult learners in regional economies across the EU.

The pilot phase concerns the practical testing of the products in new socio-economic, cultural and geographical regions. The participating partners have to test the implementation of the resources developed during the project lifetime. The target is represented by 15 individual adult learners per partner country from peripheral communities. The objective is to increase their entrepreneurial skills and business development through utilisation of the T3QM methodology.

An online platform and several e-tools will be developed during the project lifetime. The resources will be in 5 languages and will be freely available on T3QM website for the users.
